One piece of hardwood
No glued planks, no laminates. Every board is 2cm thick and handmade in artisan studios in Bali and Vietnam.
Charred by hand
Yakisugi, the Japanese fire technique, hardens the surface and raises the grain. Water beads and rolls off; knife marks blend in.
Sealed with OilCure™
A plant-based oil that hardens with the grain, locking in the char so the board needs less oiling over its life.

Questions
Can I mix boards in a wholesale order?
Yes. The 10-unit minimum applies across the order, so you can mix any boards in the range.
Where do orders ship from?
Our Australian warehouse ships to Australia and worldwide. US orders ship from our warehouse in California.
Can I engrave a mix of boards?
Engraving is US$4 per board for runs of 25 or more of the same board. If you'd like a mix of boards, tell us in the form and we'll let you know what's possible.
Are the boards food safe?
Yes. The charred layer is carbon, sealed with a plant-based oil. There are no coatings or additives.
Can engraved or custom boards be returned?
No. Engraved boards are made for you, so they can't be returned.
